Card/Technique Club

Tuesday, December 8th, 2009

Here is the final project I wanted to show you from our stamp clubs this week.  This beautiful gift card holder was a swap I received at our Stampin' Up! Regional event in November.  The creator of this project is Sandy Stoyanowski.  To create this look, you would seal an envelope closed.  Cut 1" off the side.  Stamp your envelope and your inside card.  Using the Crimper, crimp the envelope (but not the 1" strip you cut off).  You should now be able to slide your "lid" onto your crimped envelope.  On the side of the envelope that you attach the "lid" onto with a brad, trim off part of the envelope at an angle so that it is easier to flip the lid closed.

Card/Technique Club

Here is another card that we did at the card/technique club.  This was a fun card, especially with the colours.  This is a complete copy of a birthday card I received from one the demonstrators in my downline.  I absolutely love this card!  And so did the girls at the club.  One of my favourite things to do is using the Big Shot, especially the embossing folders!

Card/Technique Club

Here are two of the  cards we did at stamp club this past week.  The girls had to "work" for their cards this month!  But, we had fun!!

The first card was copied from a swap I received from Founder's Circle.  I just changed the colours to Bermuda Bay and Real Red.  The red cardstock is where you would either put a picture or write a note.  This was a really fun card, although it took some "thinking"!  We used the Delightful Decorations stamp set and Ornament punch from the Holiday mini catalogue.

The second card was much easier to make, but using the Stamp-a-ma-jig definitely helped!  I am definitely addicted to the Christmas Cocoa Specialty paper in the Holiday mini catalogue!  It may not show well, but I put Dazzling Diamonds glitter on the ornaments.  (Everything is better with glitter!)
